What plumbing services do we offer? Residential plumbing breaks down in 3 major categories: Water, Gas and Sewer. Each of these categories has its load of technical challenges, and variety of plumbing tasks.
For instance, a typical plumber work on water lines will include installing and repairing water systems such as irrigation and misting; remedying pressure issues, whether from city lines or a well; installing and repairing water heaters; detecting and locating water leaks inside and outside a home; setting up appliances and faucets; and of course, making plumbing fixtures such as toilet seats and bathrooms more accessible for people with motor and visual disabilities.
In the gas specialty, a plumber will obviously work on detecting gas leaks and locating them; fixing propane appliances, including propane tanks; making sure a home is fully up to code in regards to gas safety; etc.
The part of plumbing that deals with sewer lines is often dealing with outdoor situations, when for instance a sewer gets plugged, or a deep freeze ruptures a line and create a leak. Sometimes only a section of a sewer line needs to be replaced: such work requires digging a trench, a task for which few plumbers are actually equiped.
